Tim Glock

Tim is a graduate of Brentwood High School. He attended Carnegie Mellon University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. He also has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.

Tim spent 41 years as a Project Manager and Division Director for the U. S. Department of Energy, Division of Naval Reactors Office in West Mifflin, PA. His responsibilities included: facilities management, construction, property management, information technology, computer operations and security, records management, and communications security.

Tim’s father and mother both died of cancer. Tim’s father died of lung cancer at the age of 55 when Tim was 24 years old. Tim’s mother died of breast cancer at the age of 85. As a result, Tim, like many others, knows the devastating impact of cancer on friends and family. Tim is committed to helping others in defeating cancer through clinical trials where not only is the patient potentially improving his/her outcome, but helping others in the future by identifying more effective treatment options.

Tim has a long history of volunteering in the community by holding various positions in the Bethel Baseball Association, including President; coaching and serving as a commissioner for the Bethel Park Soccer Association; and holding various offices including President of the Bethel Park Hockey Boosters Club.

Tim is presently certified as an Allegheny Health Network volunteer with emphasis on advising caregivers of breast cancer patients.
